#DucksGive and on Giving Day business Ducks gave big.
Thanks to your generosity, the Lundquist College of Business is among the top academic units in fundraising for #DucksGive 2018.
You helped the Lundquist College of Business raise more than $100,000 on May 17. As a university, your gifts, combined with other units, helped raise more than $1 million for the University of Oregon in a single day.
These amazing results simply would not be possible without the generous support of our Lundquist College Giving Day philanthropy partners, including Carol and John Schaus "75, MBA '77—whose gift of $25,000 will bolster career support for students, connecting them to more employers and helping them land great jobs—and ambassadors like David Petrone '66, MBA '68.
Funds raised during #DucksGive 2018 at the Lundquist College will go to support a variety of priorities for the college, including Career Services, student scholarships, transformational research, and our top-notch programs.
Giving Day may be over, but it's always a good day to make a gift toward the future of business leadership in the state of Oregon and beyond.
Giving Day, noted online with the hashtag #DucksGive, is the University of Oregon's 24-hour online fundraising event, which coincides with University Day—when hundreds of students, faculty, and staff work to spruce up the UO's 250-acre campus. The weed-pulling, mulch-spreading, flower-planting effort is a community-building tradition dating back to 1905.
